Description

For optimal performance, the ecoSAVER solar heating system should be situated in an area receiving at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily, preferably during midday when temperatures are highest. Panels can be placed on the ground, on a rack, or on a south-facing roof to capture maximum sunlight. Avoid placing panels in north-facing positions. Ground installation should avoid high traffic areas to prevent damage, and sharp objects should be cleared to prevent panel damage and leaks.

If using a rack, ensure it's inclined at 30-45 degrees and inaccessible to children. A Roof Mounting Kit is necessary for roof or rack installation. With a suitable pump, the system can be located up to 30 feet from the filter system and on a one-story roof. 

Regarding pump size, a 1 to 1 1/2 HP pump is recommended. A smaller pump may require an upgrade for sufficient water flow, and if flow is weak, consider adjusting panel proximity to the pool or upgrading the pump. If the pump exceeds 1 1/2 HP, the optional Diverter Valve Kit (# ESDK-1) must be installed to control water flow and prevent panel damage.
