Introducing the CYA Removal Kit, a groundbreaking two-part system designed to effectively reduce excessive cyanuric acid levels in swimming pools without the need for draining or diluting water.
The CYA Removal Kit efficiently eliminates cyanuric acid, also known as CYA, stabilizer, or conditioner, from pool water. Over time, prolonged use of stabilized chlorine can lead to a buildup of CYA levels. The CYA Removal Kit reduces high cyanuric acid levels to achieve the ideal range for swimming pools, typically between 30-50 ppm.
CYA Remove Step 1:
- Begin by adding CYA Remove Step 1 to reduce chlorine levels to 1-3 ppm.
- Maintain chlorine levels within this range during the CYA removal process.
- Ensure pool water is balanced to the following parameters: Alkalinity (80-120 ppm), pH (7.2-7.8), and Phosphates (below 100 ppb).
- Test chlorine levels and adjust as necessary.
- With the pool system running, evenly distribute the required amount of CYA Remove Step 1 around the pool's edge.
- Allow the pool water to circulate for at least 4 hours before proceeding to Step 2.
CYA Remove Step 2:
- This powerful formula effectively reduces cyanuric acid levels in pool water.
- Treats up to 25,000 gallons of pool water with cyanuric acid levels up to 150 ppm.
- Test CYA levels using the provided test strips.
- Prior to treatment, add the entire contents of CYA Remove Step 2 to a 5-gallon bucket of warm water and let it sit for at least 4 hours.
- Add the mixture to the skimmer or directly into the pool with the circulation system running.
- Continue running the circulation system for a minimum of 4 hours following application, as well as daily for the next week.
- Maintain proper water chemistry, including chlorine levels between 1-3 ppm.
- Allow 7-10 days to see full results, then retest CYA levels. The ideal range is between 30-50 ppm. Reintroduce CYA if necessary using Natural Chemistry's Instant Pool Water Conditioner.
